Today had been an eye opener for me. It started innocently enough, had a discussion with a friend who is also a fellow author about free book promotions. I told him I found it strange that a thousand copies were downloaded in a single day, yet the book hardly sells even when costing only a dollar.

He told me something I can't forget...some people can't afford a dollar, but would still like to read.
